BetterEvaluation has just published its first Discussion Paper: ‘The value iceberg: weighing the benefits of advocacy and campaigning’. My colleague, Jim Coe, and I wrote it after long discussions about how concepts of ‘value’ and ‘results’ are being applied to advocacy and campaigning. We discuss these in the paper, and present ten alternative strategies for assessing the value of advocacy.
We’ve written a blog to initiate a discussion of the ideas presented in the paper and we would love for you to participate in the discussion there if you are able. You can read the blog and the discussion questions here.
